Chamber appreciates help at Chile Fest

The Ignacio Chamber of Commerce appreciates everyone who supported our second annual Green Chile Festival on Sept. 8, especially our sponsors! Farmers Fresh Market, Sky Ute Casino, Southern Ute Indian Tribe, Town of Ignacio, Walker's Do it Best Hardware, Paco Glass, Ignacio Community Library and Meadow Brook Mobile Home Park.

We had a great time at our event! Thank you to the Chamber Board last year for an amazing vision for a community event that we believe will continue to grow!

Farmers Fresh does a great job of putting on this cook-off and generously providing meat and green chile for the contestants. A big thanks to Brittany for being so detail oriented and helping us work through all the details for this event.

Town of Ignacio Public Works Department was great! Shoshone Park looks amazing and the all the town staff and Ignacio Police Department really helped to make this a great event! The Colorado Municipal League's Colorado Cities and Towns week is Sept. 10-16 so please stop in and say thank you to the people that keep our town running behind the scenes!

Walker's generously donated tents for the event. Please be sure to say thanks next time you see Glen.

Ignacio Community Library really stepped up and made this a fun event for kids! Thanks to Mike Pacheco who is always working hard for this chamber!!

Thank you to Clark Craig who made six extraordinary sets of corn hole boards and helped us immeasurably. Another big thank you goes to Jessica Chamblee for organizing our 16-team corn hole tournament, and she kept it running smoothly with the help of her many volunteers. She really went above and beyond to help.

Thank you to all the volunteers from set-up to tear down, including a big shout out to Ellie Flake, of the Bayfield Chamber of Commerce, and Mary Jane Fuschetto who spent the afternoon helping us!
