I want to acknowledge how much Christian Champagne has unprecedentedly engaged our communities, out of the courtroom, in support and encouragement of our health and safety. He has strong relations with service organizations, including those providing sexual assault services, alternatives to partner violence, youth services and links to Fort Lewis College.
Christian has also worked on local committees to address homelessness, community response to violence against women and habitual DUI offenders. He as written newspaper articles and op-ed pieces on sexual assault awareness and alternatives to incarceration. Many of us in the community have heard Christian as a guest speaker and panelist on sexual assault, violence against women, protecting at-risk adults and the elderly, and benefited from his involvement in juvenile crime prevention initiatives.
In and out of the courts, Christian contributes so much to the well-being of us all. I want and encourage you to vote for Christian Champagne to be our next district attorney.
