Charly Minkler of Ignacio will host a coffee klatch at 9 a.m. Thursday at the Bayfield Senior Center, 111 W. South St.
Minkler is contemplating running as an unaffiliated candidate for the La Plata County Board of County Commissioners representing District 3 in 2020.
The public is welcome to share ideas about the future of the county and learn more about Minkler and why he is considering running.
