Charly Minkler of Ignacio will host a community meeting at 7 p.m., Tuesday at Ignacio Community Library, 470 Goddard Ave.
Minkler is contemplating running as an unaffiliated candidate for the La Plata County Board of County Commissioners representing District 3 in 2020.
The public is welcome to share ideas about the future of the county and learn more about Minkler and why he is considering running.
