Back to the Future – 40th Anniversary

In this 1980s sci-fi classic, small-town California teen Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) is thrown back into the ’50s when an experiment by his eccentric scientist friend Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) goes awry. Traveling through time in a modified DeLorean car, Marty encounters young versions of his parents (Crispin Glover, Lea Thompson), and must make sure that they fall in love or he’ll cease to exist. Even more dauntingly, Marty has to return to his own time and save the life of Doc Brown. Rated PG.

Kpop Demon Hunters

When they aren’t selling out stadiums, Kpop superstars Rumi, Mira and Zoey use their secret identities as demon hunters to protect their fans from an ever-present supernatural threat. Together, they must face their biggest enemy yet – an irresistible rival boy band of demons in disguise. Rated PG.

Anniversary

In this gripping thriller, a close-knit family is caught in the turmoil of a controversial rising movement known as “The Change.” Ellen and Paul witness their lives fall apart when Ellen’s former student Liz reappears and starts dating their son. As Liz becomes a part of the Taylor family, tensions rise and loyalties are tested. Liz’s role in “The Change” brings simmering conflicts to the surface, unraveling the fabric of the family just as the nation itself stands on edge during an alarming and challenging time of uncertainty. Rated R.

Stitch Head

High above the little town of Grubbers Nubbin looms Castle Grotteskew. Here, in his haphazard laboratory, the maddest of all mad professors brings his latest monstrous creations to (almost)-life. Watching, hidden in the shadows, is the professor’s first, long-forgotten creation, Stitch Head. A tiny, strange-looking fellow made up of bits, pieces and spare parts, he is quite a sight to behold, with his bald, round head covered in a patchwork of stitches, and mesmerizing eyes. Stitch Head splits his time between keeping the castle safe and the other monsters hidden. He is terrified that even the smallest sign of monstrousness will cause the townsfolk of Grubbers Nubbin to burn the castle to the ground. It is a job he undertakes with care and precision, until one day a tired-looking freak show comes to town; led by its desperate owner Fulbert Freakfinder. The show is in dire need of a new attraction and when Freakfinder meets humble Stitch Head, he knows he has found his star. Rated PG.

Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc

For the first time, Chainsaw Man slashes his way onto the big screen in an epic, action-fueled adventure that continues the hugely popular anime series. Denji worked as a Devil Hunter for the yakuza, trying to pay off the debt he inherited from his parents, until the yakuza betrayed him and had him killed. As he was losing consciousness, Denji’s beloved chainsaw-powered devil-dog, Pochita, made a deal with Denji and saved his life. This fused the two together, creating the unstoppable Chainsaw Man. Now, in a brutal war between devils, hunters and secret enemies, a mysterious girl named Reze has stepped into his world, and Denji faces his deadliest battle yet, fueled by love in a world where survival knows no rules. Rated R.

Black Phone 2

Four years ago, 13-year-old Finn killed his abductor and escaped, becoming the sole survivor of The Grabber. But true evil transcends death ... and the phone is ringing again. Now, The Grabber seeks vengeance on Finn from beyond the grave by menacing Finn’s younger sister, Gwen. As Finn, now 17, struggles with life after his captivity, the headstrong 15-year-old Gwen begins receiving calls in her dreams from the black phone and seeing disturbing visions of three boys being stalked at a winter camp known as Alpine Lake. Determined to solve the mystery and end the torment for both her and her brother, Gwen persuades Finn to visit the camp during a winter storm. There, she uncovers a shattering intersection between The Grabber and her own family’s history. Together, she and Finn must confront a killer who has grown more powerful in death and more significant to them than either could imagine. Rated R.
