DENVER – A child died in a hit-and-run north of Thornton and police are searching for a white sports utility vehicle witnesses reported seeing driving away from the scene.
Colorado State Patrol Sgt. Rob Madden says the boy was hit at about 7:40 p.m. Monday. The boy was taken to the hospital, where he died. His name and age have not been released.
