Mad Hatter Project will host a children’s talent contest at 7 p.m. May 9 at Bayfield Performing Arts Center, 800 County Road 501. Applications are now being accepted.
The talent contest is an event in which participants perform the arts of singing, dancing, acting, martial arts, playing an instrument, poetry, comedy or other activities to showcase skills and compete for cash prizes.
The application fee is free. Two age groups will be accepted: 15 and younger and 16 to 20 years old. Prizes will be $200 for first place, $75 for second place and $50 for third place.
