The city of Durango is accepting Christmas trees for recycling. Trees will be taken through Jan. 31. The city does not do curbside pickup, so this is your chance to recycle. Trees cannot have any decorations, and they must be real, not artificial. The city plans to recycle the trees into mulch.
Drop off your tree at Santa Rita Park, near the large playground area, 149 South Camino del Rio.
