The Durango chapter of the Citizens’ Climate Lobby recently awarded scholarships to two Fort Lewis College students.
Amber Barbella and Siarrah Gomez-Boyiddle will be attending the CCL national conference and lobby day, June 9 through June 11 in Washington, D.C.
Citizens’ Climate Lobby is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, grass-roots advocacy organization focused on national policies to address climate change.
Funding for the scholarships come from the Wild and Scenic Film Festival presented in February, as well as individual donations.
