Citizens Climate Lobby to host Wild and Scenic Film Festival

The Durango Chapter of Citizens Climate Lobby will host the Wild and Scenic Film Festival from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, at Durango Arts Center, 802 East Second Ave.

The short films will feature people working together to solve environmental problems.

Doors will open at 3:30 p.m. Tickets are available online at www.durangoarts.tix.com for $15 for general admission and $7 for students.

Proceeds will fund two or three student scholarships to attend the Citizens Climate Lobby Conference in June in Washington, D.C. Students will receive training and lobby members of Congress.
