City of Durango Parks and Recreation Department has announced the Animas River Trail North Extension from Animas City Park to Oxbow Park and Preserve is complete and open to the public.
The north end of Animas City Park has been improved with new landscaping and picnic tables. The city would like to thank community members and neighbors adjacent to the trail on Bennett Street, E. 36th Street and Silverton Street for their patience throughout construction.
