The city of Durango has partnered with Ride Responsible to sponsor free Durango Transit service for Animas River Days on Saturday.
A free shuttle between the Durango Transit Center, 250 W. Eighth St., and Santa Rita Park will run about every 20 minutes from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
All other Durango Transit routes will operate on normal schedules from 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. The fare on routes other than the free shuttle is $1 per ride, or 50 cents for senior and disabled populations.
