The article about north City Market and Mac’s Liquors (Herald, June 23) was distressing at first glance, for two businesses next door to each other fighting over space.
Taking another look, I found that the produce stand (lovely fresh fruits and vegetables) and my grocery store compliment each other. Wonderful, helpful people at both places.
Shoppers, grit your teeth over the parking and enjoy how fortunate we are to live in Durango.
This is our town and with the crazy world right now, look forward to each day with a smile and grin.
