City of Aztec to host Comprehensive Plan public meeting

The city of Aztec will hold the final public meeting for the update to the city’s Comprehensive Plan from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the HUB, 119 S. Church Ave./119 E. Chuska St., on the outdoor stage area. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be moved inside.

Consensus Planning, the city’s consultant, will present the draft Comprehensive Plan, a framework for how the city should address growth and development over the next 20 years. The plan addresses land use, economic development, housing and neighborhoods, infrastructure, transportation, parks and recreation, public services and facilities and hazard mitigation.
