The 50th Anniversary of Earth Day is April 22 and Durango will celebrate virtually. Everyone can join the celebration while complying with the Colorado’s stay-at-home order and social distancing by participating in educational, inspiring and whimsical activities online April 18-26.
This year’s theme, “Climate Action: Healthy Choices for a Healthy Planet,” takes on a whole new meaning as COVID-19 dramatically affects our daily routines. The situation may change people’s perspective of Earth-friendly choices while providing time to try new activities promoting a healthy planet.
