City of Durango to conduct fertilization, weed abatement

The city of Durango has contracted with Scott’s Pro-Lawn to conduct turf fertilization and noxious weed abatement Wednesday, June 6 in Rank Park, 149 E. 22nd St.

Horse Power and Q4 Turf herbicides will be used.

The city of Durango promotes Best Management Practices in the stewardship of city lands to ensure the safe enjoyment of parks in the community. Applications are conducted to improve quality of right-of-ways, parks and open spaces in the city’s parks and recreation system.

Scott’s Pro-Lawn is licensed by the Colorado Department of Agriculture and weed control has been tested and approved by the Environmental Protection Agency.
