The city of Durango will host a neighborhood meeting to review and discuss conceptual design plans for the North College Drive reconstruction project from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday at Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave.

The project is scheduled for summer 2022 and will take place between Richard Drive and 2605 North College Drive. The project seeks to improve sidewalks, reduce speeds through the corridor and provide a buffer between the street and sidewalks. It will also bring sidewalks into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and the city's Land Use Development Code. It is being funded with the 2019 half-cent sales tax.

Participants will have the opportunity to view plans and comment on design features. There will be additional opportunities for public comment during the design process.
