The city of Farmington has announced it received a $10,000 grant from People for Bikes and will use the funds to build a pump track at Sycamore Park.
The city applied for the grant under its Outdoor Recreation Industry Initiative.
ORII director Warren Unsicker said, “Pump tracks provide a fun and positive atmosphere for people of all ages and skill levels. Adding this amenity to the Sycamore Park area will create more recreational opportunities for individuals and families.”
The city anticipates construction for the track will begin this spring.
