The city of Farmington is updating its comprehensive plan to help guide Farmington’s future development and will host a “Jolt Our Future” public event from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Farmington Civic Center, 200 W Arrington St.
People will highlight current and future trends for the community at the event. Key topics will include outdoor recreation, broadband, the film industry and retirement living and how these may affect the city’s health and economic well-being.
Presentations will be followed by a Q&A session for public engagement. Mayor Nate Duckett encourages the community to attend and get involved.
