The city of Farmington will host a recruiting event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 8, at Farmington Museum at Gateway Park, 3041 E. Main St.
The event will provide an expedited application process for job-seekers and on-site interviews for people applying to the parks and recreation department and golf courses. There will also be job interest cards so people can receive job notifications.
Job-seekers do not need to bring anything with them. They will be able to fill out a short, paper application of basic personal, educational and employment information and select which jobs they’re interested in applying for.
Hiring managers from the city’s parks, police and fire departments will be available to answer questions about open positions in their respective areas.
