City seeks applications for commissions and boards

The city of Durango’s Youth Engagement Program is accepting applications for positions on the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Commission and nine other boards and commissions through May 22.

The Youth Engagement Program, made up of high school students, works with the mayor on youth-based issues in the community.

Nine positions are available for the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Commission and one position is available for each of these boards or commissions through the Youth Engagement Program: Business Improvement District, Community Relations Commission, Creative Economy Commission, Durango-La Plata County Airport Commission, Durango Utilities Commission, Library Advisory Board, Multimodal Advisory Board, Natural Land Preservation Advisory Board and the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.
