City of Durango will host the annual Arbor Day celebration at 10 a.m. April 15 at Santa Rita Park.
Attendees can help staff members plant trees at the park. There will be a presentation about the benefits of trees, the Arbor Day Proclamation will be read and a local forester will answer questions.
This event will happen regardless of weather.
