The city of Durango’s Community Relations Commission will launch a Civility First Durango Pledge Program the week of May 13.
The Community Relations Commission invites businesses, organizations and individuals to take the Civility First Durango Pledge and to display the Civility First Durango decal at their place of business.
The decal communicates that all who live, visit, shop and play in the city are welcome there. The traits of the Civility First Durango Program include: respect, fairness, compassion, consideration, kindness, responsibility, sincerity and acceptance.
Businesses and individuals may take the pledge online at www.DurangoGov.org/CRC. The pledge may also be taken in person during regular business hours this week at Durango Welcome Center, 802 Main Ave. A member of the CRC will be available from noon to 1 p.m. to share more about the Civility First Durango Pledge Program.
