The city Durango will offer free Christmas tree recycling Thursday through Jan. 31 at Santa Rita Park, 149 South Camino del Rio.
There is no curbside pickup of Christmas trees. Residents may drop off natural trees free of ornaments and tinsel at the drop-off site near the playground at Santa Rita Park. Trees will be recycled into mulch, which will be available to residents in the spring.
