Responding to recent letter attacking candidates Clark Craig (HD59) and Cleave Simpson (SD6) for supporting the Dobbs supreme court decision. This decision returns the issue to the states where it belongs. The decision aligns with the principles of federalism, where local government – not federal courts – make decisions based on their communities’ values.
It’s important to recognize that while the left often focuses solely on abortion, candidates like Clark and Simpson are addressing the real issues facing Coloradans: the economy, illegal immigration, affordable housing, rural health care, internet access, sustainable mineral extraction, and the protection of water and agricultural rights. These are the challenges that need real solutions. Their opposition candidates offer little substance or plans to help struggling families. They lack meaningful ideas to tackle these important issues.
