The Family In Need of Support group, sponsored by the Cody Project, meets every fourth Tuesday of the month. The next meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave.
The group’s mission is to provide compassion, support and resources to families struggling with youths who suffer from anxiety, depression and suicidal thoughts. The group focuses on understanding, empathy and respect for each other. Everyone comes to the group with different life experiences and beliefs. Our journeys are different, but our pain is the same.
