Bo Cordell, Tusculum, broke the NCAA Division II record for career yards passing in a 41-33 loss to Wingate. Cordell threw for 349 yards Saturday to increase his career total to 15,049.

Octavias McKoy, Western Connecticut State, ran for 455 yards to set an NCAA record for all-divisions in a 55-35 victory over Worcester State. McKoy scored five touchdowns in a game for the third time this season and has 23 TDs on the season.

Former Fort Lewis College quarterback Tim Jenkins’ career is taking a turn north – north of the border.

Jenkins signed a deal this week to join the practice roster of the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League.

The former FLC standout spent the summer in training camp with the St. Louis Rams and appeared in one preseason game – against the Denver Broncos – before being cut.

At FLC, Jenkins threw for 8,857 passing yards and 47 touchdowns in 34 career games.
