Records

Eastern Washington receiver Cooper Kupp set a pair of FCS receiving records in the Eagles’ 35-22 win over Cal Poly.

Kupp caught eight passes for 139 yards and two touchdowns to match the FCS record for most consecutive games with a touchdown catch at 11. He shares the record with Marshall’s Randy Moss (1996), Cal Poly’s Ramses Barden (2008) and EWU’s Brandon Kaufman (2010).

Kupp also broke the FCS record for receiving yards by a freshman, with 1,231 on 68 catches. The previous record of 1,196 was set by Sean Price of Appalachian State in 2012.
