Driskel, already playing with a brace on his sprained left knee, twisted his ankle while throwing an interception in the first quarter.

Devaun Swafford picked off the pass and returned it 62 yards for a touchdown and a 7-0 lead.

Marlon Walls pulled Driskel to the ground as he released the ball. Driskel tried to get up, then dropped back to the turf and called for trainers.

Auburn receiver Jaylon Denson appeared to seriously hurt his left knee on the opening drive at No. 6 LSU.

Denson appeared to be breaking free of LSU defensive backs for a potential big gain, then tripped on a rain-soaked field as he turned to track a pass lofted his way by Nick Marshall.

Denson remained on the field long after the pass fell incomplete. Trainers appeared to be performing stability tests on his knee to check for signs of ligament damage.

Minutes later, Denson was carted off the field.
