Colorado Black Equity Study team to hold community listening session

The Colorado Black Equity Study team is hosting a community listening session at noon April 11 at Skyhawk Station, Room 118, at Fort Lewis College, 1000 Rim Drive.

Durango residents can learn about the study’s progress and contribute by sharing their lived experiences in a guided discussion. The Colorado Black Equity Study is conducting evidence-based historical research about practices, systems and policies of the state of Colorado that have harmfully impacted Black Coloradans. As part of these efforts, the study team from History Colorado is engaging with communities through listening sessions like this one to gather input based on personal experiences.

This event is free and open to the public.
