Applications for Colorado’s first Independent Congressional and Legislative Redistricting Commissions open Aug. 10.
Public comments on the redistricting commission applications will be accepted through Aug. 5.
Information about redistricting and a link to provide comments is available online at www.redistricting.colorado.gov.
Those who wish to testify in person about the applications may do so at a public meeting with commission staff members at 10 a.m. Friday at Old State Library at the Colorado State Capitol. Social-distancing practices at the Capitol will be followed for this hearing.
Commission staff members are also seeking partner organizations to promote the commission applications and encourage participation from diverse communities.
