The opinion column by former U.S. Sen. Tim Wirth was convincing (Herald, June 19). Colorado loses a lot if Sen. Michael Bennet – only two years since his reelection to another Senate term – gives up his accrued seniority, experience and influence in Washington to become governor. Phil Weiser is an excellent choice for governor.
