Southwest Chapter of the Colorado Native Plant Society will host a virtual presentation by Anthony Culpepper at 7 p.m. Wednesday via Zoom.
Culpepper’s presentation is called “The Biology and Ecology of San Juan Mountain Sedges.” He will give an overview and introduction to the basics of sedges’ biology and discuss their ecology as it relates to the high elevation wetlands of Southwest Colorado.
For the past eight years, Culpepper has managed several of Mountain Studies Institute’s alpine wetland and fen mitigation projects.
