Colorado Parks and Wildlife recently expanded its “Check-Out Colorado” state parks program to offer passes to all 42 state parks and activity backpacks for “check-out” at publicly-funded college and university libraries, in addition to public libraries.
Library staff and park managers decided to continue the program based on positive evaluations from participants. Park passes and backpacks can be checked out for up to seven days and may be renewed according to the renewal policy of each library.
