Colorado Parks and Wildlife reminds residents to be bear-aware

Bears are beginning to emerge from hibernation, and Colorado Parks and Wildlife encourages residents to be bear-aware.

Bird feeders are a major source of bear conflicts and should not be used until late November. Bear problems should be reported to local wildlife offices as soon as they are seen. Early reporting allows for more options to deal with the disturbance.
