Mesa Verde National Park has extended the season of Far View Lodge through Oct. 25 to give visitors more opportunity to stay in the park and enjoy the fall colors, a statement from concessionaire Aramark Mesa Verde said.

The extension allows more people to visit the park when it’s quieter and the weather is cooler, the statement said.
