Columbine Christian School students will participate in the 14th annual trash pickup along the Animas River Trail on Friday to celebrate Earth Day and benefit the Durango community.
Students also will attend a tree-planting event Monday at Vallecito for their “Wilderness Day” program, and plant seedlings in areas that were damaged during the Missionary Ridge fire to help the reforestation process.
