San Juan National Forest Columbine Ranger District is soliciting proposals from prospective outfitter-and-guide operations interested in acquiring permits for providing guided commercial services to the public.
Opportunities to provide commercial services include shuttle services, mountain biking tours, off highway vehicle (OHV) guided trips, Jeep tours, backcountry skiing/snowboarding tours and avalanche education classes. This is a limited offering, and the different services are offered only in specific areas across the Columbine District described in the prospectus document.
Applications must be received both by mail and email no later than 4:30 p.m. April 9. The prospectus and application submittal procedures are available at bit.ly/3uzI9DB.
Selection of successful applicants will be made by June 9.
