Community Compassion Outreach invites the public to attend a Christmas celebration from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Dec. 21 at Schneider Park, north of the Ninth Street Bridge on Roosa Avenue.
This will be a special feast with Durango’s residents who are experiencing homelessness and food insecurity. Attendees are invited to bring a dish to share. This will be an outdoor event and an opportunity to visit with volunteers and make new friends.
Volunteer drivers are also needed to help transport guests from the Purple Cliffs encampment to the lunch.
