Community Concert Hall announces performances for fall season

Concert hall reopens to in-person shows

Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College will reopen to full capacity and in-person shows for the fall performing arts series.

August and September feature free music at Buckley Park, featuring country, Latin, jazz, singer-songwriter and funk tunes.

The Concert Hall will host these performance this fall:

  • 7:30 p.m. Oct. 21: The High Kings, $29 to $39. The High Kings formed in Dublin in 2008 and is one of the leading Irish Folk bands in the world today. Details: www.thehighkings.com
  • 7:30 p.m. Nov. 6: Dancing Earth’s “Between Underground and Skyworld,” $20. Dancing Earth is an array of indigenous dance artists who work as a collective under the leadership of Rulan Tangen. Details: www.dancingearth.org
  • 7:30 p.m. Dec. 10, 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. Dec. 11, and 2 p.m. Dec. 12: State Street Ballet of Santa Barbara’s “The Nutcracker” featuring the San Juan Symphony, $29 to $49. The story is a favorite for audiences of all ages and will include local dancers and singers. Details: www.statestreetballet.com
  • 7:30 p.m. Dec. 17: Bar D Wranglers Christmas Jubilee, $19 to $35. The Bar D Wranglers weave together traditional holiday and Western music, cowboy poetry, tall tales and humor. Details: www.bardchuckwagon.com
