The application for nonprofit beneficiaries for the Community Foundation serving Southwest Colorado’s summer concert series at the Rochester Hotel is now open. The deadline to apply is April 10.

The concerts benefit 10 La Plata County nonprofits and promote Southwest Colorado’s local music scene by featuring a different nonprofit and music talent from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays June 26 through Aug. 28 in the Rochester’s Secret Garden.

The application can be accessed under the “Grant Seekers” tab on the Community Foundation’s website www.swcommunityfoundation.org. In order to apply, organizations must be a nonprofit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization, or be a project or organization under the fiscal agency of a 501(c)(3) organization. Organizations must serve La Plata County. Previous recipient organizations are not eligible to apply again for three years. Final organizations to benefit from the series will be announced in the beginning of May.
