The application for the third round of Community Emergency Relief Fund granting is now open. This round of CERF grants will address nonprofit financial stabilization and recovery during the COVID-19 crisis.
With the goal of building resiliency in the nonprofit sector, all nonprofits located in Southwest Colorado (Archuleta, Dolores, La Plata, Montezuma and San Juan counties) are eligible to apply. The application for grants, which will range from $1,000 to $5,000, will be a two-part process.
Part 1 of the application for Round 3 of CERF Recovery Funding is a required nonprofit needs assessment. Only organizations that complete the assessment will be eligible to receive Part 2 of the application. This short survey must be completed by June 1. The more accurate information the CERF grant committee receives, the more it can advocate for nonprofits in the time of COVID-19.
Part 2 of the application will be made available to selected nonprofits by the end of June. The amount of Round 3 funding will depend on donations and will likely total at least $125,000. Grants will be distributed as soon as possible.
The online needs assessment is available online at www.SWCODA.org/nonprofits.
