The Community Foundation serving Southwest Colorado recently appointed three members to its board of directors: Chuck Fredrick, Melissa Glick and Simon Walls.
Fredrick, managing owner of FredrickZink and Associates accounting firm, returns to the board to serve as treasurer. He has worked as a certified public accountant for more than 40 years in Durango; served in leadership roles as a national council member for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants; president of the Colorado Society of CPAs and board chair of the Four Corners Chapter of CPAs; and has held positions for several local boards, committees and organizations.
Glick, originally from Chicago, started a public relations, advertising and events career before moving to Durango, where she eventually became a co-owner and the CEO of Think Network Technologies. Glick also co-founded Professional Women’s Network of Durango in 2014.
Walls moved to Durango in 2003 and was hired as an associate professor of marketing at the Fort Lewis College School of Business Administration. He holds a doctorate in marketing from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and has owned various small businesses during his career.
