San Juan Health Partners Pediatrics urges parents to make sure their children are up to date on their vaccinations.

Vaccines are the best defense against several diseases that can be dangerous or even deadly.

Most vaccinations are given to children from newborn to2 years of age, with boosters between ages 4 and 5 and again from 10 to 12.

In addition to the routine vaccinations given during well check visits, the providers at San Juan Health Partners Pediatrics encourage parents to get the seasonal flu vaccination for their child. It is especially important this year, since the flu and COVID-19 share many similar symptoms.

San Juan Health Partners Pediatrics is accepting new patients and offering in-person well check visits. To schedule an appointment, call (505) 609-6700.
