Community Road Work Conditions for Monday, Dec. 16.
Atmos Energy’s work at Main Avenue and 18th Street continues, with a southbound single-lane closure.
The lane closure will remain in place, 24-hours a day, until early next week. Then, weather permitting, the lane closure will move to northbound Main Avenue. Work will be suspended before Christmas and all lanes will be back open to traffic. After the first of the year, Atmos will complete their work, requiring a final northbound right-lane closure, as well as a closure of westbound 18th Street for several days. Colorado Highway 145 northbound/southbound on Lizard Head Pass (milemarker 57.6).
Through May 2014 24 hours a day there will be one lane alternating traffic with flaggers in the daytime and a traffic signal at night 24/7 for culvert replacement. Wide loads will not be permitted through the work zone. For more information, call (970) 209-3332.
There will be one lane alternating traffic for bridge approach repairs on U.S. Highway 160 northbound/southbound in Durango (milemarker 86). Minimal delays.
There will be one lane alternating traffic for cleaning ditches on U.S. Highway 160 westbound at Yellow Jacket between Durango and Pagosa Springs (milemarker 103-118). 15 minute traffic delays as needed.
There will be one lane alternating traffic for bridge rail repairs on U.S. Highway 550 northbound/southbound at Bondad Bridge south of Durango (milemarker 3.8). Five minute delays.
