Morlan
Last year, Gov. John Hickenlooper declared July 28 as Ed Morlan Day, in recognition of his statewide and regional economic development work. A celebration in memory of Ed will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. July 28 at Eagle Park, 1169 U.S. Highway 160, Bayfield.
Barbecue meats will be provided and the Jelly Belly Boogie Band will perform.
Attendees will pay tribute to the Ed Morlan Fund, set up by SCAPE to help local entrepreneurs by providing them with mentoring, education, office space and access to equity funding.
