Concerts at the Park free concert series to return Thursday

Shows will begin on Thursday with Baracutanga

Alpine Bank of Durango and the Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College will present the free summer “Concerts at The Park” series from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursdays in Buckley Park, beginning next week and running through Aug. 1.

Designed to make live music more accessible to a broader community audience, the series requires no tickets and offers a family-friendly environment for enjoying a diverse music lineup.

Audience members are asked to bring chairs or blankets, as seating will not be provided at Buckley Park. Local restaurants will offer small food items for sale at the park, but picnics are welcome. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet.
