Concerts to be held in Bayfield arts center

Choral students from Bayfield High School attended the Colorado Mesa University Honor Choir on Nov. 13 in Grand Junction. Music concerts will fill the Bayfield Performing Arts Center in December. The following groups are scheduled to perform:

Tuesday, Dec. 5, 6 p.m. Be Frank DRUM and elementaryThursday, Dec. 7, 6 p.m. Be Frank Orchestra Tuesday, Dec. 12, 7 p.m. BMS holiday concert Thursday, Dec. 14, 7 p.m. BHS music department concertMonday, Dec. 18, 6 p.m. BES second grade condertTuesday, Dec. 19, 6:30 p.m. BEPS first grade concertThursday, Dec. 21, 6 p.m. Bayfield Early Education Program concert.The BHS choir will perform at the high school concert on Dec. 14. Zenn Roberts, a tenor for the BHS choir, has been selected for Colorado All State Honor Choir, which will be held Feb. 1-3 in Denver. He will sing in the mixed choir as one of 100 tenors statewide. More than 500 tenors auditioned for the coveted spots.
