Eighteen brave souls will be taking the stage Saturday night for the third annual Durango Voice. A fundraiser for Manna, contestants will sing a song in front of four judges, who like the television show “The Voice,” begin each song with their backs turned away from the performers. As the judges become interested in what they hear, they turn their chairs and vie for the chance to train their chosen singers for the final show, in this case, to be held in April.
Saturday’s show will begin at 7 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.) at Henry Strater Theatre, 699 Main Ave. Tickets are $35 (or $65 for Saturday and April 7 show), and are available online at http://bit.ly/2CxyGR3.
