The Cortez Public Library has announced its August lineup for the Raising Readers Storytime program, held at 10:30 a.m. every Thursday at the Cortez Public Library, 202 N. Park St.
Older children are welcome to join for a craft at 11:15 a.m.
The library also offers a Storytime at the Cortez Farmers Market, at the southeast corner of Main and Elm streets at 9:30 a.m. Saturdays.
The farmers market storytime will continue throughout the season until the end of October, weather permitting.
The lineup for August:
“Jurassic Jiggle,” Aug. 2 and Aug. 4.“Let’s Sing,” Aug. 9 and Saturday, Aug. 11.“Favorite Author” Laura Numeroff, Aug. 16 and Aug. 18.“Honey Bees,” Aug. 23 and Aug. 25.“Boats,” Aug. 30 and Sept. 1.“We offer songs, stories, crafts and silliness,” children’s librarian Laura McHenry said in a news release. “Please join us!”
